UX Technologist Intern (m/f/d)

The Volkswagen Future Center Europe is a special place where creative people coming from different backgrounds join forces to explore and design the future of mobility.
Joining our UX Team as a UX Design Intern (Concept) you will work on early ideas for the next generations of vehicles. You will be part of an interdisciplinary project team of researchers, designers and technologist and work directly with our users. The internship can start at any time and will last for 6 month. You will also be fairly compensated. This is a full-time position.

• Design and build rapid interface prototypes, iterate on them
• Help with planning the software architecture for prototypes
• Bring your expertise for UX design related deliverables (e.g. personas, user journeys)
• Support the team with hosting ideation and co-creation sessions

• Open-minded and a curious person, constantly looking for new creative output
• You are not fixed on a particular set of tools and are willing to learn new methods
• Able to communicate clearly and pitch your work effectively
• Able to come to our studio in Potsdam regularly, once the situation allows

Your background

Experience with some of the following:
• Interface design and Interaction design
• Creative Coding
• Game development
• Electronic engineering (single-board computers and microcontrollers)
• Web and mobile development

An ongoing student status is required for the internship period.
